Our commitment to your privacy
We understand the sensitive nature of the content on this website. Your privacy is not just a legal obligation for us — it is a core principle. We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver our services, we never sell your personal information, and we design our systems with your confidentiality in mind. What you do on this site stays between you and us.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how The Liberty Blueprint (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website at thelibertyblueprint.co.uk, sign up for our free resources or emails, or buy our products through our Etsy shop.
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
What information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Email address — when you sign up for a free resource (such as the 7-Day Shame Reset), subscribe to our emails, or contact us.
- Order information from Etsy — when you buy one of our products through our Etsy shop, Etsy shares the details we need to fulfil and support your order. This usually includes your name, Etsy username, the products you bought and the order date, and may include your email address or postal address. We never see or receive your payment card details.
- Any information you include in emails or messages — if you contact us directly or message us through Etsy.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — when you visit our website, our hosting provider and security tools automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so the site can work and be protected from attacks.
- Cookies — see the Cookies section below for full details.
We do not currently use website analytics.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for your phone number or any health or medical data, and you do not need an account on our website. Apart from the order details Etsy shares with us when you buy from our shop, we do not collect your name or address. We have intentionally designed our service to minimise the personal information we hold about you.
Our lawful basis for processing (UK GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following bases:
- Consent — When you subscribe to our emails or sign up for a free resource, you give us consent to send you emails. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
- Contract — When you buy from our Etsy shop, we use the order details Etsy shares with us to fulfil your order and provide support.
- Legitimate Interest — We use technical data to keep our website secure and working properly, and we keep records of customer messages so we can help you. We ensure this does not override your privacy rights.
- Legal Obligation — We may retain certain data where required by law, such as financial records for tax compliance.
How we use your information
- To fulfil and support orders — using the order details Etsy shares with us to answer questions and resolve any problems with your purchase.
- To send email communications — delivering free resources, email content, and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep our website secure and working — using technical data to protect the site from attacks and fix problems.
- To respond to enquiries — when you contact us by email or through Etsy.
- To comply with legal obligations — maintaining records as required by UK law.
Email marketing and newsletters
When you download a free resource or subscribe to our newsletter, you may receive emails from us containing recovery tips, new product announcements, and helpful content. Every email includes a clear unsubscribe link at the bottom.
We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for their marketing purposes. Your email is used solely to communicate with you from The Liberty Blueprint.
We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and only send marketing emails where we have your consent or a legitimate soft opt-in basis.
Purchases through Etsy
Our products are sold through our Etsy shop. When you buy from us:
- Etsy processes your payment. We do not see or store your payment card details.
- Etsy delivers your download. Your files are available from your Etsy account after payment.
- Etsy shares order details with us so we can fulfil and support your order. We keep a record of your purchase (such as your name, Etsy username and the products you bought) for customer support and for tax and accounting purposes.
- Etsy is responsible for the personal data it collects when you use its platform. Please read Etsy’s Privacy Policy to understand how Etsy uses your data.
- Digital products are delivered electronically and are non-refundable once downloaded, except as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
